The Genesis of HMS Consultants
The inception of HMS Consultants is rooted in the visionary leadership of Akhil Dave, a distinguished healthcare marketing expert with over 25 years of experience. Throughout his career, Akhil has served as the marketing head for some of India’s leading hospitals, where he consistently delivered exceptional results and drove strategic growth. In 2020, he took a bold step into entrepreneurship by partnering with Niraj Upadhyay, the innovative founder of Trizone Communications Pvt Ltd. Together, they launched Trizone Healthcare Consultants, a firm dedicated to providing comprehensive 360-degree integrated marketing communication (IMC) solutions for mid-sized and large healthcare organizations.
While working with larger healthcare providers, Akhil identified a crucial gap in the market. Many smaller clinics, multispecialty hospitals, and rural healthcare facilities struggled to access expert marketing strategies due to the high costs associated with premium agencies. These providers often had marketing teams or digital agencies that lacked the strategic guidance necessary to thrive in the competitive healthcare landscape.
